  • IMPORTANT: The last day of the 2024 / 2025 tax year is Saturday 5 April.

    Our online and postal ISA applications for this tax year will close from 5pm on Friday 28 March until the morning of Monday 7 April. Find out full details and timings for opening and funding ISAs with us within the current tax year.

  • Mortgage products - From today, Monday 24 March, we’ve made changes to our mortgage product range. These include an increase to our Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor (JBSP) maximum loan size for Owner Occupier Repayment mortgages to £1,000,000, new Owner Occupier Interest-Only mortgages to 80% LTV, and the introduction of our House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) mortgages to general sale.

Our expat mortgages are available on an Interest-Only basis

We offer Buy to Let expat mortgages for properties located in England or Wales. Applications for Owner Occupier expat mortgages for properties located in England or Wales can be made via an intermediary/broker.

The mortgage will be secured on your home. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you’re a UK citizen working abroad, or a foreign national living in the UK and paid in a foreign currency, we might be able to help you with an expat mortgage.

About our expat mortgage products

  • We offer Buy to Let expat mortgages for properties located in England or Wales
  • Applications for Owner Occupier expat mortgages for properties located in England or Wales can be made via an intermediary/broker.
  • We accept applications from expats in over 40 countries, including United States, New Zealand and Hong Kong
  • We also lend to UK nationals aged over 18 working abroad, and whose families are remaining in the UK subject to certain conditions
  • If you live in the UK, but are paid in a foreign currency, your repayment vehicle must be from a Sterling denominated UK asset. All applicants must hold a UK bank account
