Mortgage customers - our Managed Mortgage Rate (MMR) will decrease by 0.25% from 20 January 2025. Find out more:

From 20 January 2025, we'll be decreasing our Managed Mortgage Rates (MMR) by 0.25%. All on-sale discounted variable product rates and other details, including representative examples displayed on our website, have been updated to reflect these lower rates.
We will be writing to existing customers who have been impacted by this change, shortly, with details relevant to them.

Rate changes following Bank of England decision to decrease its Bank Rate by 0.25% to 4.75% on 7 November 2024. Find out more

Savings: Interest rates for Windfall Bond and Tracker Savings Bond will decrease by 0.25% from 1 December 2024. We will be writing to all customers individually to confirm the new rates.
Mortgages: Tracker mortgages will change on 25 December 2024 and we will write to customers individually with revised payment details where the new rate exceeds the minimum rate (or ‘floor’) already applying to their mortgage.

By completing our questionnaire, you're helping us to understand what we're doing well and what we need to do better, in order to meet your needs more effectively. Please note that this questionnaire is entirely anonymous.

Let's plant a forest

Once again, we're partnering with eForest and will plant a tree for every 10 surveys completed online. eForest are a not-for-profit organisation set up to help combat climate change, regenerate neglected urban spaces, and create new woodlands. As a result of your online submissions last year, we planted 383 trees!

Prize draw terms and conditions

1. The closing date is 27 December 2024 at 5pm.
2. Only one entry per person.
3. No purchase necessary.
4. Prize draws and competitions are only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
5. Employees of Family Building Society and their families are ineligible to enter.
6. The prize draw is £500 which can be paid by transfer to your bank account or by cheque.
7. The winner will be drawn randomly using a secure computer-based program under independent supervision. The judge will oversee the draw and the judge's decision is final.
8. Our website will be updated to confirm the draw has taken place no later than Friday 10 January 2025. We will not publish the winner’s name to maintain their anonymity.
